Media & Communications Support 

 

Part Time (2-3 days per week)
Location: Miranda, Sutherland Shire


Start date: ASAP!

 

We’re looking for a part time communications all-rounder to join our growing team. The right candidate for this role will be a fantastic writer and not afraid to hit the phones. Priorities for the role include:
 

  • Writing media releases, blogs, articles and marketing emails

  • Content creation for social media, websites and marketing collateral

  • Pitching to the media via phone and email

  • Pitching to the influencers and brand partners via phone and email

  • Writing reports, award applications and proposals

  • General admin support 

 

Experience in a similar role is preferred. All applicants must provide at least one example of their writing eg. a media release, article or blog.


A stand-out applicant will also have experience in some of the following areas:

  • Basic website skills (Wordpress CMS and/or Wix)

  • Adobe Suite proficiency (inDesign, Illustrator and/or Photoshop)

  • Mailchimp experience
     

This role will work across a range of clients in the not-for-profit, corporate and start-up sectors.

 

Salary is negotiable depending on the experience of the applicant.
